The Never Ending Winter

I do not really follow the forecast here, so I was quite surprised and dismayed when I woke up to snow everywhere this morning. It has been cold the last few weeks, but gradually the polar ice caps, I mean sheets of snow and ice in our yard were slowly receding. We had even managed to clear out our driveway. The snow was coming down fast and heavy all night and into today. It is almost April, as Florida people, we are just not cut out for this extended winter weather.
